Causes of Shoulder Pain – The shoulder consists of three types of bones viz shoulder blade that is the scapula, clavicle that is collarbone and humorous that is upper arm bone. The shoulder joint is a ball socket joint or diarthrosis and multiaxial. Due to the four muscles and tendons known as the rotator cuff, it becomes possible for the shoulder to have a good range of shoulders.

What causes shoulder pain?

Shoulder pain can be caused due to many different reasons. But the common reason for shoulder pain is trapping the rotator cuff under the bony part of the shoulder. Such a condition is called rotator cuff tendinitis or bursitis.

  5. 5. If you are facing a rotator cuff problem, you can also perform some home care routines, like using ice. You can also take ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation of the shoulder.
