Hospitals will hold COVID mock drills across the nation to check the arrangements and preparations needed in case of any spike in COVID-19 cases. The drill exclusively includes the availability of manpower, beds, emergency equipment, and other health facilities needed for the outbreak.
The COVID mock drill exercise across the nation will be monitored by the Health ministers of each state concerned. It will ensure operational readiness and keep in check further preparations required if any. By covering all the parameters like health facilities in every district, count over isolation beds, ventilators, oxygen support systems, and ICU beds, Govt. is focusing on strengthening the public health responses.
The news agency PTI quoted officials said on Tuesday that Delhi residents will have access to real-time data regarding the availability of oxygen cylinders, beds, ventilators, etc., on Delhi Govt. portal.
