AIIMs administration is not disclosing the conditions of the ransomware attack at AIIMS Delhi. They are not sure whether the servers are hackers free or not. However, they stated that they had begun an online OPD after recovering the data. This case is being handled by CBI, NIC and Delhi police National Investigation Agency.
Zee news analyzed the documents regarding the AIIMS cyberattack case.
According to these documents, the AIIMS server’s last transaction was on November 23 at 07:07 am. After which, the server got hacked, and hackers mailed RANSOMWARE via two email IDs, [email protected] and [email protected].
Delhi AIIMS faced a cyber attack, due to which their servers got paralyzed. The case of extortion and cyber terrorism was registered on November 23 by the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit of the Delhi Police. The investigating agencies recommended a halt to all the internet services of AIIMS.
